If left unchecked, a single dedicated healer can provide thousands of points of ‘free’ hitpoints to an attacking push, making it virtually unstoppable.
This guide will teach you the precise tactical maneuvers required to assassinate the backline and neutralize these incredibly frustrating support cards.
The Golden Rule: Kill the Support First
The cardinal rule when facing a healing or shielding composition is to completely ignore the primary tank until the support is dead.
The most reliable way to achieve this is by using specific ‘assassin’ units, such as the Miner or the Bandit, which can bypass the frontline entirely.
- Distract her or kill her instantly.
- Wait for the support to cross the bridge before dropping your assassin.
- Use spells to break shields before applying massive damage.
The Cheese Pushes
A cloned healer essentially doubles the healing output, turning the surrounding army into a literal immortal wall of hitpoints.
Hover your spell the moment you suspect a Clone play, and drop it the millisecond the blue cloning animation begins on their side of the map.
